Make a donation, and make a difference

With your help, we make a difference.  CSHC sincerely thanks all our donors for their support. Without the generous donations of gifts of funds, time, and in kind support, our work would not be possible.

Your gift contributes to the healthy lives of Calgarians

Every dollar you give goes to help the more than 28,000 Calgarians who receive our support and
education each year.

By giving to CSHC, you are supporting excellence in sexual health counselling, specialized education programs,
and innovative approaches.

You can choose to designate your gift to a specific service or program area, or you can help us fund our highest priority needs.

You have the power to change lives through education and care

Every gift - big and small - provides a helping hand to the 28,000 youth, men, women and seniors who reach
out for our help each year.

Community generosity supports our innovative and professional sexual health programs and services.

Have a look at just a few of our success stories:

Wise Guyz
WiseGuyz is a groundbreaking fourteen-week program that provides targeted education, skills development, and support to young men to help them achieve sexual well-being and healthy relationships. Our innovative program was recently featured on the front page of the Globe and Mail, and we have received interest in our approach from around the world.

Training Centre
The Training Centre provides a number of professional development opportunities to service providers. Since 2009, we have reached over 7000 individuals including nurses, social workers, and physicians. 98% of our Training Centre participants reported feeling more confident discussing sexual health with their clients.

Seniors  A GOGO
We have had a dedicated group of older adults who have been working to provide insight into sexuality in the later years. This committed and tenacious group has been sharing their experiences with love, loss and sexuality to create a series of stage readings, monologues and digital stories. The Viva Vintage Monologues awakens audience members and helps them to recognize that sexuality is integral to people throughout their lives. In 2010, the Canadian Federation for Sexual Health awarded Seniors A GOGO the Helen and Fred Bentley Award for innovative programming.

Comprehensive Sexual Health Education
We offer in-school education programs to inform, motivate and help youth make healthy choices about their sexuality. Our school based sexual health education program works within the Alberta Education curriculum, and has been a recommended resource of the Calgary Board of Education since 1975.

“How To Be A SexPert” Podcasts
Our ‘How to be a Sexpert’ podcast series is available on our website, our YouTube channel and on iTunes. Through our podcasts, viewers can watch our sexperts get an STI test, talk to their parents about sexuality, and reveal what they’ve learned in becoming a sexpert.  In the first month alone, our first 2 podcasts generated over 300 hits per day.
